Zeus Publications is a special business created by writers for writers. It began when my dream of publishing my first book was shattered due to vanity publishing. I was left broke and disillusioned and knew there had to be a better way. The experience allowed my husband, Bruce, and I to research the field and find the solution – e-books.

Six months later, in 1997, Zeus Publications was born in the spare room of our modest one bedroom unit (a familiar story for the start of a successful business – just look at Billabong).    

When e-book hype dimmed, Zeus struggled financially and we decided it was time to venture into traditional paper publishing. The decision was never about making huge profits; just staying afloat and providing a service to writers that they would otherwise not be privy to.
    
I’m happy to say I have wonderful staff whose expertise in their fields of submissions, editing, graphic design, publishing and marketing make Zeus Publications work successfully. Each year we are making refinements to establish a well-respected reputation in Australian publishing. Our books can be purchased from most bookstores or from our website www.zeus-publications.com  Our goal is to help authors hold a book in their hands – their own book.
